New Cooperation Agreements for Help Albania

Help signs a copperation agreement with the Agency for Agricultural and Rural Development and the National Employment and Skills Agency

On February 3rd Help signed an agreement with the Agency for Agricultural and Rural Development (ARDA), which paves the way for the implementation of the project “Socio-economic empowerment of the Western Balkans” in support of farmers and agribusinesses in the district of Tirana.

Help together with ARDA signed a tripartite memorandum with the Union of Albanian Municipalities in the Region enabling a better institutional coordination as well as logistical facilitation for a more efficient implementation of the project.

At least 55 rural businesses will be supported with equipment up to the value of 2,000 Euros and at least 65 business trainings will be provided by certified experts thus providing a full service to businesses in order for their sustainability.

Priority will be given to small farmers with a focus on women, small family businesses but also agritourism businesses.

Help will soon publish the first public calls for the grant scheme.

Also, Help in Albania signed a cooperation agreement with the National Employment and Skills Agency, where the parties pledged to coordinate their capacities in order to continuously support young people towards vocational training and sustainability in the labour market.
