New children’s playground in Berat

Play is widely recognised as a central pillar of children’s development and an important foundation to good educational outcomes.  Play helps children learning important life skills. Children’s playgrounds are a focal point for local children and form an important part of improving the quality of life in a local community.

A new children playground opened in March 2021 at Riza Mulita school in Starove village on the outskirts of Berat. The playground is being used by toddlers and young children attending the kindergarten and the primary school.  The playground was organised by Help in Albania and financed by the German Foundation Verein Eine Welt Linz e. V.
