Earthquake 2019

The office of Help in Tirana was set just after and as a response to the terrible earthquake of the 26th November 2019 hit Albania. Both the office in Kosovo and Albania, together with our headquarters in Bonn, were at the field, helping and supporting the people in need.

Support to Albanian Institutions

  • Renovation of the kindergarten “Tre dëshmorët” in the Municipality of Kavaja. 130 local children attend daily this facility.
  • Support with electronic devices and disinfection materials to 9 Albanian institutions in their response to Covid-19 crisis.
  • Upgraded playground in a school in Berat.
  • Help Albania implemented yesterday in the Municipality of Mallakastër the German Government-funded project "Emergency support to socially vulnerable groups affected by the COVID-19 pandemic in Albania".
